A fire which damaged many houses in an Oldham terrace on Sunday is being treated as suspicious by Oldham CID. The blaze, which started in an unoccupied home in the terrace on Cranbrook Street soon spread to other properties causing the evacuation of twenty-five residents and a number of local road closures.

Although no one was injured, much damage was done and the local police are hopeful that anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area will contact them with information.
